Elvis Presley 1.00ctw Diamond and 14K Yellow Gold TCB Necklace Gifted to Denver Policeman Ron Pietrafeso W/LOA, Letter of Recollection From Priscilla Presley, and Statement of Provenance From Sig Hansen - This 14k yellow gold TCB necklace was given by Elvis to his personal friend, Denver policeman Ron Pietrafeso. The pair met in 1969 after Elvis performed a concert in Denver and stayed in the city for a few extra days. They talked about many things, including how much Elvis liked visiting Colorado in the winter for snowmobiling. Much to Ron Pietrafeso's surprise, Elvis contacted him the following year and invited him to come along on his Colorado trip. They eventually became friends having personal conversations about Elvis' career and Ron's career as a policeman, as Elvis was fascinated by police work. Elvis invited Pietrafeso and several other police officers to be his personal guests at one of his concerts in Las Vegas, where he eventually gifted this necklace to Pietrafeso, although it did not contain any diamonds. Ron went on to tour with Elvis helping with security, visit Graceland and have Elvis as a guest in his home. After several years, one day while on tour Elvis looked at the necklace and told Joe Esposito that Ron had "been around long enough and done a good job" and that he needed diamonds added to his TCB. Joe took the necklace and returned it back to Ron about a month later with the letters lined with diamonds. This information is detailed in the accompanying signed letter of authenticity from Mr. Pietrafeso. This necklace is incredibly rare and is thought to be one of only seven diamond TCB necklaces known to have been given. The necklace also comes with a letter of recollection from Ms. Priscilla Presley, and a statement of provenance from Mr. Sig Hansen, who acquired this piece in 2022. Mr. Hansen is the captain of the fishing vessel F/V Northwestern and is known for his time on the popular documentary television series, Deadliest Catch, which he has appeared on since its first season in 2005. In Mr. Hansen's words, " Receiving the Elvis artifact and meeting Priscilla Presley for lunch at the Iconic Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, where she recalled the piece fondly and saw all of the items I acquired for my collection, was one of the greatest moments of my life as the necklace was one of her most favorite pieces. My wish is for it to bring joy to whomever owns it, just as Elvis Presley brought joy to millions of people and garnered adoration because of his revolutionary music and legendary presence."
