Cabochon ruby set in sculpted 14k yellow gold ring setting framed with diamonds (approx .75 ctw), marked "NATO / 14k", personally gifted to Vikki Carr by Elvis Presley backstage after one of her Las Vegas performances at The Tropicana Hotel in the 1970s, includes Certificate of Authenticity as former property of Elvis Presley from The Collection of Vikki Carr

Carr saw Presley's shows several times and Presley would often compliment her from the stage and promote her residency at The Tropicana, once saying that Carr was one of his favorites because "she sings from the gut". Presley was an avid lover and collector of jewelry and was known to gift select pieces to friends and fans
