A 9 inch-wide area of scratches to paint layer above sitter's head. Craquelure throughout. In-painting to upper left corner and along upper and left edges, and to portions of the other two edges. A 6 x 3 inch area of in-painting to right of sitter. A 1 1/2 x 1 inch area of inpainting to left of sitter. Further in-painting to sitter's waistcoat.
