2-pc pink china silk c/o boned bodice w/ band collar, leg o’ mutton sleeve & CB hook & eye closure, skirt w/ shaped self-ruffle, lined w/ cotton & fine buckram, c. 1895, bodice B 34”, L 17”, skirt W 22”, L 40”, (underarm discoloration, light discoloration , many small spot stains, few small holes, pulls, wear at W) good; 2-pc black silk twill resist printed w/ pink, green & lavender floral motif c/o fitted bodice w/ V-neck, bodice hem & cuff edged w/ black lace over pink silk band, skirt w/ self-ruffle & glazed cotton lining, c. 1894, bodice B 30”, L 16”, skirt W 22”, L 38”, (seam strain bodice W, few tiny pulls/holes, small light stains, wear/discoloration CB hem, net cuffs damaged, bodice lining torn) excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
