**Originally Listed At $200**

Central Asia, India, ca. 19th century CE. A lovely cast brass figure depicting the goddess Lakshmi. The figure shows Lakshmi as a multi-armed deity holding lotus flowers in her upper hands and a small bowl in her remaining lower hand while seated upon a tiered platform, all covered in fine patina. Size of largest (standing Lakshmi): 2.5" W x 6.6" H (6.4 cm x 16.8 cm).

Provenance: ex-Estate of R. Pearson, Denver, Colorado, USA; Mr. Pearson collected from the third quarter of the 20th century until he passed away.; ex-Arte Primitivo, New York, New York, USA

Smaller figure has small loss to one arm and verso of seat. Larger figure has light wear to areas around shoulders. Both figures have small nicks to bases and bodies, with softening to some finer details. Light earthen deposits and fine patina throughout.
