The serpentine crest rail carved with tassels above a pierced vasiform splat and a leather-lined drop-in seat, on cabriole legs with claw-and-ball feet.

Height 39 3/4 in. (100.9 cm), width 21 in. (53.3 cm), depth 17 in. (43.1 cm)

Probably late 19th century, repaired break to left side of splat, age crack and chip to right side at top, rubbing to carved decoration on crestrail, old marks and scratches.
