This is a Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad book titled The Heart of the Continent, an Historical and Descriptive Treatise for Business Men, Home Seekers and Tourists, of the Advantages, Resources, and scenery of the Great West. It is dated 1882, and is published by the passenger department of the CBQ. It has 64 pages and many excellent illustrations of things to see and do in the states served by the railroad. Excellent used condition, with only some tears and frays on the cover. Amazing cover artwork, and a route map inside the back cover. Early CB&Q logo on the back. CBQ enthusiasts will be lining up to get a hold on this item!
