Description
Circa 1810-20. Early, probably original, finish. Height appx. 93". Overall width 18 1/2" by overall depth 10 1/2". Dial labeled for Spencer Nolen, Boston. Unusual original base configuration with the trunk boards extending all the way to the floor with bracket feet applied to the facades. The fretwork with several very old repairs. One shallow plinth board is replaced. The finials are probably original. The front glass has a short 1.5 inch hairline and one of the end panels has full width crack. The rest of the case is in pretty good condition with some minor splits. The pendulum crutch is broken. The clock is not in working order.
