Attributed to George Bailey (British) Ca. 1900, "On Markeaton Brook, Darby", H 27" W 20" | Titled and attributed on verso. Depicting a sparrow flying over the Markeaton Brooks with a foot bridge over the Brook. Background has the steeple of what is likely a view of the steeple of Christ Church, Derby (now the Serbian Orthodox Church of the Apostles St Peter and St Paul) in the distance. Provenance: Property from the collection of Gloria Radosevich, Troy, MI

Original canvas and stretcher. Frame is of the period and could be original.
