In overall good condition. Painting exhibits signs of professional, well-integrated restoration. There is a large upside down "L" shaped tear repair to the lower center left of the canvas (just left of the far left seated figure) with a correspondent patch repair en verso (right). Two very small patches are also present on verso. Under UV, no notable inpainting was detected at sites of patch repairs. There is scattered inpainted "touch-ups" to the left seated figure's skirt edges and right sleeve, to the middle figure's face, to the plant on the far left and to the background on the far right behind the canister of paint brushes. The background exhibits several layers of varnish. There are additional inpainted "touch-ups" scattered throughout the background, which are difficult to discern through the layers varnish that fluoresce avocado green under UV light. Under white light, there is light craquelure. The pierce work on the frame has some shrinkage cracks and a few crack repairs with small losses- as is to be expected with age and material. ________________________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
