Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 600 to 100 BCE; West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE; Valley of Mexico, Mixtec people, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A trio of hand-carved stone amulets of relatively petite size including a miniature Colima seated dog, a miniature Mixtec penate figure, and a larger Mezcala seated figure. Size of largest (Mezcala): 1.8" L x 0.9" W x 1" H (4.6 cm x 2.3 cm x 2.5 cm)
Provenance: private Matrisciano collection, Thousand Oaks, California, USA, before 2002; ex-Malter Galleries, Encino, California, USA

Condition
Each artifact with abrasions and nicks, light earthen deposits, and minor softening to some finer details, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to overall forms.
