Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Michoacan, ca. 500 BCE to 300 CE. An exemplary pottery pipe in the form of a turtle, the surface is highly burnished and slipped in a red and creamy beige, with 3 tripodal legs that support the bowl. Size: 7" L x 2.25" W x 2.5" H (17.8 cm x 5.7 cm x 6.4 cm)
