Title:Lewis Carroll Phantasmagoria and Other Poems Misprinted First Edition
Description:Unveiling a literary treasure from the enchanting world of famed author and poet Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodson, we present a truly exceptional find: the misprinted first edition of Phantasmagoria & Other Poems, published in London in 1869 by Macmillan & Co. This edition carries extraordinary peculiarity, making it a collectors dream. Intriguingly, this first edition has the poem “Melancholetta” incorrectly designated as beginning on page 78, whereas upon further inspection page 78 actually is the commencement of the poem “The Lang Cootin’.” This anomaly makes this book an exceptionally rare, extremely limited print, making it highly desirable to collectors. Also, notably, this edition is bereft of Carroll’s iconic “Alice in Wonderland.”
