Description
Ancient Near East, Holy Land, Late Bronze Age II to Iron Age I, ca. 1200 to 1100 BCE. A sizable pottery pitcher with an egg-shaped body, a rounded shoulder, and a thick rim. A sturdy strap handle extends off the verso. The surface is covered in thick calcifications and earthen deposits that attest to its age and level of preservation. Size: 10" Diameter x 14.375" H (25.4 cm x 36.5 cm)
