A pair of color woodblocks on paper by Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, 1786 to 1865, a Japanese ukiyo-e artist considered the most commercially successful artist of the era. Late Edo era, mid-19th century. Untitled prints of a geishas from the painting book Nishiki-e. First dated 1854, signed in the lower left. Second dated 1849-1852, signed in the lower right. White mat, wooden frames. Collectible Asian Oriental Graphic Art, Kabuki Theater.
