DIMENSIONS: Sight 12 x 9.5 inchesCIRCA: Civil War EraATTRIBUTION: Published by Currier & Ives DESCRIPTION: This lot is a Civil War era print by the iconic Currier & Ives graphically depicting the panoramic, horrific battlefield of Pea Ridge in Arkansas. The print has been carefully painted with bold blues and faded reds of the two opposing forces engaged in hand-to-hand combat. There is text printed in the lower margin describing the scene. CONDITION: The margins of the print have been compromised for framing. The is some slight foxing to the paper, and expected toning to the stock paper. RECOMMENDATIONS: Do not over expose to direct light. Frame or archive the print with acid free materials.
