Civil Rights Montgomery Council Newsletters, 1958-1960

Three newsletter issues of the Montgomery Council, 8.5" x 14" each, circa 1958-1960. Light edge toning and soiling to all issues, with the November issue having further rust soiling. Minor bumping to corners.

Two issues are 1p and one issue is 2pp. The newsletters provide information about the Council's future meetings, along with articles, recommendations for further reading, donation pleas, and general council news. Guest contributions by authors Reverend Robert Hughes, Reverent Tom Thrasher, and Mrs. Willease Simpson. The mission of the organization was to "attain through research and education equal opportunities for all the people of Montgomery."
