Ten (10) Confederate States of America Ten Dollar notes. Richmond, 17 February 1864. Published by Keatinge & Ball of Columbia, South Carolina, printed by Evans & Cogswell. Red network background. Intricate blue reverse with "Ten" in large letters. With "Horses Pulling Cannon" and bust portrait of Confederate Senator R.M.T. Hunter at lower right. Each approx. 7 x 3 in. Six no series (Criswell, Confederate 1864-540), Two (2) 1st Series, Roman Type (Criswell, C1864-541), and one (1) 2 Series (Criswell C1864-543), and one (1) 5 Series (Criswell, C1864-547). T-68.
Total of 10 notes. Each with serial numbers inscribed ink and undersigned.
