Description
1st-25th items: Grouping of twenty-five (25) Civil War era Confederate currency notes, including eighteen (18) Virginia Treasury Notes, issued in Richmond, VA: three (3) $10 ten dollar bills, dated October 15, 1862, three (3) $5 five dollar bills, dated October 15, 1861 and March 13, 1862, twelve (12) $1 one dollar bills, dated May 15, July 21, and October 21, 1862; four (4) County of Augusta Notes, issued in Stauton, VA: one (1) $1 one dollar bill, dated May 25, 1862 and three (3) 25 cent fractional notes, dated May 25, 1862; two (2) Corporation of Winchester Fractional Notes, issued in Winchester, VA: one (1) twenty-five cents note, dated July 15, 1861, and one (1) ten cent note, dated dated July 15, 1861; and one (1) Commecial Bank twenty-five cents fractional note, issued in Richmond, VA, dated January 18, 1862. 26th-27th items: Two (2) Pre Civil War Planters Bank-Fairfield Notes, issued in Winnsboro, South Carolina, including one (1) $10 ten dollar note, dated October 8, 1853, and one (1) $5 five dollar note, dated July 3, 1856. 28th-40th items: Thirteen (13) United States currency, including one (1) 1907 US $5 "Woodchopper" legal tender note, one (1) 1890 $1 one dollar treasury note, two (2) $1 one dollar silver certificates: one (1) Series of 1923 and one (1) Series of 1957, two (2) 1976 $2 two dollar federal reserve notes, and seven (7) 2003 A $1 one dollar federal reserve notes.

Condition
Majority of notes in circulated condition, some 19th century notes with tears, areas of loss. 20th century notes in almost uncirculated to uncircualted condition. $10 Planters Bank-Fairfield note is separated at center.
