six pieces by John Withers (Salem, Virginia, working 1815-1869), including five 8-3/4 in. spoons and 4 in. salt shovel; sugar tongs with King's pattern arms and talon form terminals, marks for retailer Mitchell & Tyler (Richmond, Virginia, working 1845-1866) and maker William Gale & Son (New York, NY working 1850-1853-1866); two pieces by Michael DeYoung (Baltimore, Maryland, working 1816-1836), "10.15", including 8-3/4 in. and 5-1/2 in. spoons; spoon with marks for Simon Wedge, Sr. (Baltimore, Maryland, working 1798-1823) and pseudo hallmarks, 5-3/4 in.; small ladle possibly Southern with marks for Nathaniel Butler (Savannah, Georgia, working 1796-1797 and Utica, New York, working 1799-1815), 6-1/2 in., most with monograms, 12.05 oz. T.
