Description
4 Chinese Crackle Celadon Porcelain Bowls Ming or Earlier: The large bowl with an unglazed band around a glazed center with impressed flower design with foot ring and bottom unglazed and a similar smaller bowl with an unglazed band inside with foot ring and bottom unglazed; together with an under-fired Longquan bowl with inside of bottom unglazed and an early bowl with spur marks to inside from the kiln firing. Diameter of large bowl 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Steven J. Harvis, New York, 3 with his label affixed to bases, the large bowl #306, the similar small bowl #303, and the early bowl #305.
Condition
Age related wear to each with a few minor small flakes to edges; the early bowl with spur marks to inside with degradation to the glaze, cracked and professionally restored with infill and over-painting.
