3 Chinese White / Pale Celadon Porcelains: a fluted jar possibly Song Dynasty, in crackle white glaze with 4 applied ring & discs at the shoulders, the base and foot ring unglazed with the mouth unglazed; a wide crackle pale celadon jar & cover with 4 applied loops to shoulder with rope design, the cover with applied flower & stem, with the foot ring and base unglazed; together with a small Qingbai pale blue porcelain pouring vessel with handle, spout and the round cover with 2 small holes for protective attachment to handle, the foot ring and base unglazed. Height of tall jar with 4 loop & discs 6 1/4 inches (15.8 cm.). PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Steven J. Harvis, New York, the wide pale celadon crackle jar with cover with his label applied to bottom #587.
Condition
Age related wear and minor flakes to glazes to each; the tall jar with loop & discs with damage to unglazed mouth and 2 loops now with over-painting and a small chip to inside foot ring; the covered wide jar with 2 chips to loops; a kiln firing line under the glaze to handle of Qingbai vessel.
