Description
West African Ghana Boy Tunic. Made for and by laborers from Mali, who sought employment in Ghana. Judging by the size and subject of the embroidery, this was made for a woman haircutter. For a similar tunic ref. "African Textiles" by Clarke, Moraga and Finn, P. 54, Plate 15. Size: 42'' x 23'' (107 x 58 cm).
