Native American, Alaska or Canada, Inuit, ca. second half of the 20th century CE. A set of 2 hand-carved stone effigies. First is a vibrant green-hued face of a woman with lengthy hair, a pointed chin, and a lengthy neck. The larger sculpture depicts a bear laying on its back, perhaps while scratching its belly for relaxation. Size of larger: 5.25" L x 2" W x 4.3" H (13.3 cm x 5.1 cm x 10.9 cm)

Both pieces with minor abrasions, otherwise intact and very good. Nice surface smoothness throughout. Previous inventory labels on verso of bear.
