Description
An antique Japanese patinated bronze ikebana cooking pot with tripod base, produced during the Meiji Era (circa late 19th Century to early 20th Century). Striking design with circular, wide rim, lobed exterior surmounting triple saber legs, and opposing abstract Foo Dog or dragon handles, with a generously wide rimmed removable bronze platter produced with a deep well. Incised export numbers to underside of both pieces. No apparent signatures.
Dimensions: 9.75 X 11.75 X 11.75 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear and evidence of patina. Estate fresh to the market.
