Royal Figure w/ Serpent - Aboriginal Indigenous Art - This 17"high lost wax cast bronze was once ritualware from the people of Benin, Nigeria, Africa. It depicts a standing figure with undulating snake extending in center on top pf cap-like headdress with row design, large bulgy eyes, short nose with broad nostrils, wide open mouth, necklace with cross pendant, short arms with palm of had facing outward, protruding stomach, wraparound skirt, ankle bracelets, flat feet with indicated toes. Item comes from the collection of Timothy Koock. Ships from Austin, Tx.
