Description
17TH CENTURY FRENCH STRASBOURG SHELL-FORM SILVER SNUFF BOX, shell form with hinged lid and engraved decoration to exterior. Impressed to interior with a partial Strasbourg city mark of a fleur-de-lis topped shield with "13", a "13" lot mark for 0.812 silver, and an unidentified "PS" maker's mark. Total weight: 1.180 ozt. 17th century. 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1" OA.

Condition
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, nicks, and scattered denting, some worn spots to engraving.
