ENGLISH GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER CHAMBERSTICK, having a single capital on a short knopped stem, topped by original bobeche with gadroon and foliate rim, round saucer featuring a matching gadroon and foliate rim, applied ring handle with shell thumbrest, original conical snuffer attached by a chain. Impressed to edge of foot rim with a partially cut-off maker's mark of "IC / WR" for Joseph Craddock & William Ker Reid, three hallmarks of a King George III duty mark, a lion passant for sterling fineness, and a "c" date mark for 1818 are impressed to edge of foot rim, side of snuffer, and to interior flange of bobeche. Total weight: 5.190 ozt. Circa 1818. 2 1/8" H bobeche rim, 3 3/4" DOA saucer rim.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, a few scattered minor/small dents, capital sits slightly askew, candle snuffer with a repair to side starting at edge.
