AMERICAN SCHOOL (LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF A MAN, watercolor, fine bust-length depiction of sitter in partial profile, his face turned toward the viewer, wearing a pale yellow jacket and white waist coat, no signature located. Housed in likely original gilt-metal pendant-style frame retaining early fitted leather case. Late 18th/early 19th century. 1 3/4" H (object), 5 1/4" x 4" case.

Condition
Very good overall visual condition with very minor abrasions / areas of discoloration at sight edges. Frame with minor wear and scratches to glass. Not examined out of frame.
