JAMES TASSIE (SCOTTISH, 1735-1799) CAMEO MINIATURE PORTRAITS, LOT OF THREE, white glass-paste, comprising a right-facing profile of Margaret Wardlaw, inscribed "MARG. WARDLAW T / 1791" and a left-facing profile of Agnes Wardlaw, inscribed "ANG. WARDLAW 1791", both on a white ground; and an unidentified left-facing nobleman inscribed with "T" only, on a black ground. Each in their original molded mahogany frame with a ring hanger. Late 18th century. 3" x 2 3/4" and 6 1/4" x 5 1/4" OA.

Condition
Excellent overall condition, large example with minor discoloration to the outer edge of the ground, one small frame with a patch to the front of the rim.
