VIRGINIA SCHOOL (LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF A MAN, watercolor, finely delineated waist-length depiction of sitter with garnet jacket, patterned waistcoat, and high white stock, no signature located. Housed in a period gilt-metal frame. Late 18th/early 19th century. 2 7/8" diameter (overall).

The important collection of H. Marshall Goodman Jr., Richmond, VA.
Condition
Very good overall visual condition with very minor scattered abrasions and possible surface losses, with areas of discoloration. Frame with minor wear and scratches to glass. Not examined out of frame.
