Three Good Portrait Miniatures of Gentlemen

each watercolor and gouache
each unsigned, the first a grisaille profile; the second in a blue coat with a white necktie; the third in a black coat with a white stock.
The first two glazed in rolled gold plated frames, the third glazed in a brass frame.

Male Portrait - Grisaille Profile: Small scattered surface marks; no signs of past restorations. Circular metal frame with surface marks and signs of wear. Male Portrait - Blue Coat with White Necktie: Surface abrasions along and by edges from contact with frame; two linear cracks/splits upper right by edge (background); small scattered white dots. Metal frames with surface marks, tarnished areas and signs of wear. Male Portrait - Black Coat: Good strong colors; small surface marks and areas of loss upper right (hair and background); diagonal linear surface mark upper center (across his face); surface abrasions along and by edges from contact with frame; scattered small surface marks. Metal oval frame with surface marks, areas of discoloration and signs of wear.
