Japanese Porcelain Vase by Makuzu Kozan probably late 19th-early 20th century in date, is distinguished by a bulbous rim and the bold teal blue glaze. The motifs of a hydrangea blossom and butterflies are softly painted against the dark glaze. The stamp on the base reads: Kozan sei (made).

Condition
Very good with some minor flaws in the making. Very small firing crack to foot, small notch in foot in the making, a few minor and small glaze flaws to body, in the making.
