Japanese Lacquer Four Case Inro, probably late 18th century in date, is comprised of 5 segments joined by a cord. The lacquer artist was Koma Koryu and the metal work by Noriyuki. The subject intricately created in low takamaki-e features a rabbit and badger in boats, each fashionably attired. Signed on base.

Condition
Very good with some wear/loss to patination on feet of rabbit. Otherwise very good with general light wear from age and use. Very nice.
