Description
Native American, Pacific Northwest, United States, Alaska, ca. mid-20th century CE. A hand-carved statue of a cliff face made from fossilized walrus tusk ivory, with black and white birds sitting in the niches - perhaps puffins or some type of auk birds. Size: 1.75" L x 1.5" W x 5" H (4.4 cm x 3.8 cm x 12.7 cm)

The walrus ivory is aged / fossilized with stable cracks and fissures. Nicks to bird pigments. Good condition.
