ANTIQUE / VINTAGE SHELL / MOTHER-OF-PEARL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF 27, each one or two-part form with shell / mother-of-pearl and applied metal clasps, including many with carved decoration featuring a shell-form buckle, a sand dollar-form buckle, and some Art Deco examples, a buckle with dyed/painted decoration featuring flower motifs, and a leaf-form buckle with etched detailing. Unmarked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. Leaf-form example 4 1/8" x 1 1/2" OA.
