Native American, North America, California, Ohlone tribe, ca. 19th century CE. A wearable necklace of sizable form that is strung with hundreds of petite stone and seed trade beads in white or red hues; one of the red-hued beads is shaped from rose-hued glass. The length of the necklace means it can be wrapped multiple times without feeling tight or cumbersome. Size (necklace): 82.5" L (209.6 cm); (largest bead): 0.33" L x 0.36" W (0.8 cm x 0.9 cm)

Condition
Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Beads are of the stated period; stringing is modern. Minor nicks and abrasions to some beads, otherwise intact and very good. Great white and red coloration throughout.
