Native American, Southwest United States, Pueblo, ca. 20th century CE. An attractive pottery jar fired to a lustrous black surface with a matte horizontal band of repeated, abstract motifs that encompass the exterior. Minimalist yet elegant in form, the jar sits upon a petite, planar base with then walls that spread gently outwards to a rounded shoulder and an inward-curving rim. Size: 3.8" W x 3.5" H (9.7 cm x 8.9 cm)
