Featured in this lot is this Hopi Indian Snake Clan jingle cone trade cloth snake banner, circa 1950s. The banner features a wonderfully and professionally crafted trade cloth and aluminum construction. The banner shows a double layered trade cloth with twin snakes coiled up that shows the back of the banner lined with jingle cones. The banner was most likely used as a banner with a rod or to line a teepee doorway or a saddle blanket. The condition of this of this trade cloth banner is good with some fraying to the open end of the blanket but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this banner are 52 1/2"L x 26 1/2"W.*
