Hanging of hand spun, hand woven cotton cloth wax resist (batik) dyed in imitation of Indian trade cloth. Design of hamsa geese surrounding a figure composed of concentric circles surrounded by wavy lines. Medium: tabby cotton; wax resist (batik). Provenance: The Roger Hollander Collection. Size: 105'' x 34'', (267 x 86 cm).
