Description
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A free-blown glass jar with thick glass trails zigzagging between the flared, in-folded rim and the rounded shoulder. The base of the apple-shaped body was molded upon creation with a textured pattern to create an elegant presentation, and the center features a smooth, concave pontil scar. Size: 3.125" W x 2.4" H (7.9 cm x 6.1 cm)

Condition
Loss to section of glass trailing on one side, with thick weathering film, light earthen deposits, otherwise in great condition. Nice silver and rainbow iridescence throughout.
