Manuscript document multi-signed. Head Quarters, Army of the Potomac, Office of the Provost Marshal General, 12 February 1863. 1 page, with 2 sheets joined. On Office of the Provost Marshal General letterhead. 17 signatures with 4 tipped in.

A unique collection of signatures assembled in February 1863, a pivotal time of changes in command within the Union Army. Includes 17 signatures of corps commanders including generals as well as several assistant adjutant generals. These sheets were distributed for reference to prevent forgery, etc.
