Potted in Brush Pot shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, close opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of elder seating on the ceremonial on the grass field. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Upper-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Chongzhen Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
