Chinese Ming Dynasty Ming Dynasty Chongzhen Porcelain brush pot. Potted in brush pot shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to wide flaring opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of group merchant cart through forest surrounded with dense tree. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayfish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Chongzhen Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (porcelain), regardless from any major damages; includes minor scratches. Consider normal due to the ages.
