Apollo 8 Borman & Lovell Dual Signed Earthrise Photo
A striking color photograph of the iconic "Earthrise" photo, originally taken by Apollo 8 crewmember Bill Anders, signed by the mission's Commander Frank Borman and Command Module Pilot James Lovell. Measuring 8" x 10", n.p., undated [ca. 1968]. Signed and inscribed in silver felt tip pen by the two astronauts, "James Lovell/ Apollo 8 CMP" and "Frank Borman/ Apollo 8 CDR" respectively. The image captured by Anders became the first time in human history where the Earth could be seen from space emerging from behind the lunar horizon. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Novaspace. No visible flaws. Near fine with bold signatures.
