Description
GEORGE FULTON, ALLEGHANY CO., VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with squared rim, pronounced collar, beaded neck ring, and incised shoulder ring. Brushed manganese multiple tulip decoration below dropped feathers on front. George N. Fulton (1834-1894) Pottery, Arritts, Alleghany Co., VA. 1867-1885. 9 7/8" H, 6" D rim.
