Pre-Columbian Nasca Culture Warrior deity Bowl | Very fine polychrome terracotta bowl from the Nasca culture of 2nd - 4th Century A.D on the southern coast of Peru | The Exterior depicts the likeness of a / the warrior deity using orange, red, beige/brown, and black pigments on white painted base | Approx. Size: 2.85" H x 7.25" Diameter | Very good condition overall, chip to rim and repaired crack(s). The Nazca culture (also Nasca) was the archaeological culture that flourished from c. 100 BC to 800 AD beside the arid, southern coast of Peru in the river valleys of the Rio Grande de Nazca drainage and the Ica Valley.
