Poor's Manual Of Railroads dated 1869-1870 by Henry V. Poor. Green hardbound cover with golden letters and detail with Adams Express Company East, West and South on the back cover. The covers have an embossed decorative border. Book measures 9 1/4" x 6" x 1 3/4" and shows standard signs of use for its age with patina and corner wear. The cover shows general wear on the spine around the edges with parts of the material being cracked or worn off, especially at the top and bottom. There is also a 1/2" tear in the cover along the spine. The back cover has a 1/2" blue stain. The first two interior pages have separated from the book. Interior pages do have age patina around the edges with some interior pages showing writing marks, creases, minor tears, and worn edges. At a few spots throughout the book, the binding is visible between the pages. See photos for best description.
