Circa 120+ documents dating from the 1820s to the 1890s, with most being pre-civil war. Most are legal documents including circa 21 partially printed Commonwealth of Kentucky Sheriffs orders for Mason Co. sheriff. This group contains at least three documents that mention slaves, but there may be more than that as many are difficult to read. Many different types of legal documents including deed transfers, small claims type cases and even felony cases. Other items include manuscript poetry and a few letters. Condition most with normal folds, many with separations at same, various levels of toning and stains, most are VG and only a few are poor.
