Description
Inked manuscript cut unlined letter sheet (8 x7”) reading: Know all men by those present that I Mary Glassbach of Frederick County the State of Virginia bargon (sic) and sole (sic) unto Joseph Graves one twelfth share in too (sic) small negroes (sic) name by Dilley and willis being the property of Charles Graves desc. To me for in consideration the sume (sic)of twenty five dollars to me in hand paid were as I bind my self to defend all claims that may come on said shares this march sixteenth Day 1830. On I have here unto set my hand and sele (sic), signed lower right Mary Glassbach with inked seal and witnessed lower left Hugh C. Dyer. Condition normal folds and slight stains, VG.
